The facility was designed to allow for adequate comprehensive programs for military personnel, their dependents, retired military personnel, and distinguished visitors. The facility provides adequate support for athletics, aerobic activities, cardiovascular training, 1/7th mile indoor running track, and auxiliary administrative support.  The Health and Wellness Center (HAWC) has been included to provide proper education training for food prep and overall health care.
